Goldie empowers subscribers located in the U.S., U.K., and Canada.
Who has activated the Payments feature to select who pays the transaction processing fees: the business or the client? To select the appropriate option for your business, take the following steps:
Platform fees are charges applied during transactions within the Goldie system. These fees depend on your selected settings and local pricing configurations.
Open Goldie (and ensure you are logged into your account)
Go to Menu (☰) → Settings → Payments
Tap “Processing fee.”
Choose one of the following options:
Paid by me — this is the default option and will require you to pay the per-transaction rate for your country
Paid by the customer — this option adds a 3.5% + $0.30 platform fee to your client’s service total, which they will pay on all transactions (deposits and payments/tips). This platform fee does not fully cover BNPL payment options.
Note: Every country and state has different laws regarding platform fees. We recommend reviewing the requirements in your jurisdiction.
The platform fee will automatically be communicated to your clients on your booking site before they reach the checkout page.
The fee option you select will be applied to all clients/transactions. If you change your selection at any point, the change will only impact transactions occurring after you make the change.
Note: If you downgrade to Starter, the "Paid by customer" option will be automatically disabled and reverted to "Paid by me (Goldie User)".
Note: The booking fee will not be taken from your earnings and cannot be paid by you if the "Paid by me" option is selected.
You can't currently choose how processing fees are applied if you're a Goldie subscriber in countries outside the U.S., U.K., or Canada.
