Goldie now allows you to send payment receipts manually or have them sent automatically when a transaction is completed. This helps both you and your clients keep a clear record of payments, refunds, or charges.
1. Automatic Receipts
Automatic receipts are sent for all Stripe transactions (including online bookings, card on file, and payment links).
When a client completes a payment or you process a refund through Stripe, Goldie automatically sends a refund confirmation email to the client.
2. Sending Receipts Manually
You can now manually send a receipt for any transaction that has an awaiting or successful status.
2.1 How to Send a Manual Receipt
Open the client’s Appointment details screen.
Go to the Transactions section.
Tap the [⋮] icon next to the payment, deposit, refund, or cancellation fee.
Select Send receipt.
Confirm or edit the client’s email address (if missing, you can enter it manually).
Tap Send.
Goldie will email the receipt directly to the provided address.
Note: You can send a receipt up to 5 times for each transaction. Once this limit is reached, you’ll see the message: “You can send a receipt only 5 times for each transaction.”
