Share a 5★ Review from Your Notifications Inbox
When a client leaves you a 5★ review, you'll see two buttons in your Notifications Inbox: Publish on your website and Share on social media.
To open your Notifications Inbox in Goldie, go to Menu (☰) → Inbox.
Tap Share on social media to open the Preview & share screen with the review already loaded on a template and an AI-drafted caption ready to copy.
Only 5★ reviews that include written text will show the Share on social media button. Reviews with 1–4★ are private and won't have sharing options.
If you tap Publish on your website first, the notification updates to a success state.
Create Posts from Marketing → Social Posts
To open Social posts in Goldie, go to Menu (☰) → Marketing → Social posts.
The Social posts screen shows seven categories to choose from. Templates are customized for your profession, so what you see will match your type of business.
Share a Client Review
Tapping Reviews opens a screen with your most recent 5★ review already preloaded on a template. Tap Change review to pick a different one from your review list. Select a template to open the Preview & share screen with the review overlaid on it.
If you don't have any 5★ reviews yet, you'll see a message letting you know. Once you receive one, you'll be able to create a post from here.
Share a Discount
To create a discount post, go to Menu > Marketing > Social Post and tap on Discounts. This opens the discount templates screen. You'll see two kinds of templates: customized templates, which are filled in with the details of your active or upcoming online booking discount, and generic templates, which use placeholder text you can post anytime.
When you have a discount running, an info line at the top shows which discount the customized templates are using — the promotion name, the value off, the dates, and the eligible services (for example, Spring Sale · 20% off · Aug 20 – Sep 20 · All Services).
Goldie fills the customized templates with your discount details: the promotion name, the value off (such as 20% off), the duration (a date range like Aug 20 – Sep 20, or "Aug 20 – Ongoing" for discounts with no end date), and the eligible services (All Services, or the specific services you selected).
If you have more than one discount, Goldie shows the one that is available for online booking, hasn't ended yet, and starts soonest.
Discount Reminders in Your Inbox (Pro Plus)
If you're on the Pro Plus plan with Marketing permission, Goldie reminds you to share a discount after you create one for online booking. You'll get a push notification and a card in your Notifications Inbox once the discount is active or the next one is coming up.
The Inbox card includes a Preview social post button that opens the Preview & share screen with a template selected and a caption already drafted.
Only one discount reminder appears in your Inbox at a time — when you create a newer discount, it replaces the previous one.
Share Your Loyalty Program
To create a loyalty post, go to Menu > Marketing > Social posts and tap Loyalty program. This opens the loyalty templates screen.
You'll see two kinds of templates:
Customized templates, which are filled in with the details of your active loyalty program
Generic templates, which use placeholder text you can post anytime.
Goldie fills the customized templates with your program settings, such as 10% off after 5 visits. Select a template to open the Preview & Share screen with your program details overlaid and an AI-drafted caption ready to copy.
If you're on the Pro Plus plan with Marketing permission, Goldie reminds you to share your loyalty program after you enable one. You'll get a push notification and a card in your Notifications Inbox.
The push notification is titled "Tell clients about your loyalty program", with the message "Share it on Instagram and Facebook so clients know they're earning rewards." Opening it takes you to the Preview & share screen with a template selected and a caption already drafted.
Fill Calendar Gaps with AI Marketer (Pro Plus)
On the Pro Plus plan with Marketing permission, AI Marketer looks for open gaps in your week and offers ready-made ways to fill them. Once a week, on Monday morning in your time zone, it checks for an open slot of at least 4 hours in the next 7 days. If your booking timeframe is set, it only looks within that window. For accounts with more than one staff member, it checks each staff member who provides at least one service and includes the staff name in the reminder.
When AI Marketer finds an opening, you'll get a push notification and a card in your Notifications Inbox titled "A [weekday] opening is worth promoting", with a message like: "AI Marketer found a Friday 15, between 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM gap in your calendar and prepared two ways to promote it: a social post on Instagram or Facebook and a mass message."
Promote an Opening with a Social Post
Tapping Preview social post opens the Availability templates in Social posts with your open slot built into the template. The slot text (for example, Friday 15, between 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM) appears on the template across up to three lines and shrinks to fit.
To change what's shown, tap Edit slot text. In the Change slot text popup, edit the text (up to 190 characters) and tap Update templates to refresh the templates with your new wording, or Cancel to close without changes.
When you open the Preview & share screen, Goldie drafts an AI caption about the opening. You can also reach these templates on your own from Menu > Marketing > Social posts > Availability.
Promote an Opening with a Mass Message
Tapping Preview mass message opens a ready-made Calendar gap message: "Hi! It's been a while since your last visit. I have an opening on [Calendar gap] if you'd like to come in." — followed by your booking website and business name.
When you come from the Inbox reminder, [Calendar gap] is filled in with the opening AI Marketer found. If you start from Menu > Marketing > Mass message, you'll find the Calendar gap template under New availability, and you can edit the slot text yourself.
The message goes to clients you haven't seen in the last 2 weeks who don't have an upcoming appointment.
Turn a Photo into a Post
Tapping Photo lets you upload an image from your camera or gallery. After selecting a photo, Goldie opens the Preview & Share screen with an AI-drafted caption generated based on the photo and your profession.
Other Post Categories
Tapping Availability, Loyalty program, Gift cards, or BNPL opens the matching templates screen. Select a template to open the Preview & share screen.
The Preview & Share Screen
The Preview & Share screen works the same way regardless of how you got there. Here's what you'll find:
Template — your review or post content is displayed on the selected template. For reviews and template-based categories, swipe the carousel to browse and switch to a different template.
AI-drafted caption — for review and photo posts, Goldie generates a caption in your language, tailored to your profession and the content of the review or photo. Tap Copy and paste it when setting up your post on Instagram or Facebook.
Booking link — tap Copy next to your booking link to copy it and paste it into your Instagram story or post description.
Share — opens your device's share sheet so you can send the post to Instagram, Facebook, or any other app. On web, you'll see both a Share and a Download button — tapping Share opens a dialog with your social account options.
AI Caption Limit
AI caption generation uses your monthly AI generation allowance (up to 1,000 per subscription period). If you reach the limit, Goldie will show a default caption instead and display the date when your allowance resets.
