This article covers managing reviews you have already received. To set up review collection in the first place, see How can I request customers to review?
Who Can Use It
The Reviews screen is available on the Pro and Pro Plus plans. Reviews are managed by the account owner or a manager, the same permission that covers your other business settings.
Where To Find Your Reviews
From the left menu
To open your reviews in Goldie, go to Menu (☰) → Online booking → Reviews.
This opens the Published tab. You will see a New label next to Online booking and next to Reviews while the feature is still new to you.
From your Inbox
Tap any review in your Notifications Inbox, whatever its star rating, and the Reviews screen opens on the Not published tab, with that review at the top of the list.
Published And Not Published
The screen has two tabs, each showing a live count: Published holds the reviews currently visible on your booking website, and Not published holds everything else you have received. Switching between tabs refreshes the list.
Nothing is ever deleted. A review you take down stays in Not published, and you can publish it again whenever you want.
Publishing A Review
Open the Not published tab and tap Publish on the review you want on your website. It moves straight across to the Published tab, and you get a confirmation that the review was published.
Only 5★ reviews can be published. Reviews rated 1★ to 4★ have no Publish button; in their place, you will see a note explaining that only 5★ reviews can be published. The same note appears on those reviews in your Inbox, so it is clear they are not public.
Unpublishing A Review
Open the Published tab and tap Unpublish. Goldie asks you to confirm first and explains that the review won't appear on your Goldie website anymore, and that you can publish it again anytime.
Confirm, and the review leaves the Published tab right away. You will find it again under Not published.
Pinning Your Best Reviews
Pinned reviews appear first in the reviews list on your online booking website. On the Published tab, tap the pin icon on a review to pin it. You can pin as many as you like, and Goldie confirms with a short message that it is pinned on your booking website. Tap it again to unpin.
The first time you open the screen with a published review, a tip appears under the pin icon explaining that pinning your best reviews makes them show first on your booking website.
The list on your screen reorders the next time you come back to it, with pinned reviews at the top. On your booking website, pinned reviews always come first, and if you pin several, they are ordered by the date the review was left.
Searching Your Reviews
Use the search box to find a review by client name or by a word in the review itself. In the mobile app, search filters the tab you are currently on. In the Web App, the search sits above the tabs and looks across both.
Doing More With A Review
Share it on social
You can start a social post from a review on this screen. The post itself works exactly as it does elsewhere in Goldie — see How to Use the Social Posts for the full flow.
Google Reviews Booster
If you haven't set up the Google Reviews Booster yet, a banner on the Published tab points you to it. On Pro Plus, it takes you to the Google Reviews screen in your settings, where you can search for your business. On other plans, it shows you what the Pro Plus upgrade includes.
You can also open your online booking settings directly from the Reviews screen to change how reviews are collected.
