How to manage your staff using Goldie's Team plan

This guide is for subscribers to Goldie's Team plan, which empowers you to grow your business beyond yourself. Learn more about the Team plan here.

Here are the first steps to take when adding and managing new staff members on your Goldie account:


  1. Invite the new staff member(s)


    To add a new staff member, go to Menu (☰)  → Staff → Staff members, and tap the “+” icon. Then, enter the new staff member’s details and tap Save. An invitation email will be automatically sent to your staff member at the email address you entered for them. 

    After the invite has been accepted, the new staff member's account will be created. You'll then be able to see the new staff member‘s calendar and update staff settings (such as which services they provide). For more details on adding a staff member, check out this article.


  1. Edit your staff’s information.


    Staff members can edit their own information, but Account Owners are able to edit the information for other users on the account. 

    To edit your staff member’s information, go to Menu (☰) → Staff Members, select the staff member you want to edit, and then tap “Edit.” Learn more about editing staff members' information/settings here.

  2. Roles and permissions

    The Account Owner of your Goldie Team subscription can set the level of access that all other users on the account have. Only the Account Owner can edit those permissions.

    To update a staff member's permissions, go to Menu (☰) → Staff Members, tap the one you'd like to change permissions for, and then tap "Edit" in the top right corner. Learn more about the permission levels you're able to assign in this article.

  3. Online booking visibility

    You can also control whether or not a staff member is listed on your online booking page. When you add new staff members, they will appear on your online booking page by default.

    To update this setting at any time, go to Menu (☰) → Staff → Staff Members, tap on the member you'd like to edit, and select or deselect “Bookable by clients online”.

  4. Staff member notifications

    Choose what notifications you'll receive about your staff members and which notifications they receive about the business; go to Menu (☰) → Staff → Staff Members → Tap on your staff.

  5. Create an appointment for a staff member.

    You can create an appointment for any of your staff members directly in the calendar or let clients do so via the online booking system. See here for how you can create an appointment using Goldie.
