Can I pass transaction fees onto my clients?

Goldie empowers subscribers located in the U.S., U.K., and Canada who have activated the Payments feature to select who pays the transaction processing fees: the business or the client. To select the appropriate option for your business, take the following steps:

1. Open Goldie (and ensure you are logged into your account)
2. Go to Menu (☰)  → Settings → Payments
3. Tap “Processing fee”
4. Choose one of the following options:
   1. Paid by me — this is the default option, and will require you to pay the per-transaction rate for your country
   2. Paid by the customer — this option adds a 3.5% + $0.30 platform fee to your client’s service total, which they will pay on all transactions (deposits and payments/tips)
      1. Note: The platform fee will automatically be communicated to your clients on your booking site before they reach the checkout page

The fee option you select will be applied to all clients/transactions. If you change your selection at any point, the change will only impact transactions occurring after you make the change.

The ability to select how processing fees are applied is not currently available for Goldie subscribers located in countries besides the U.S., U.K., and Canada.
