How do I create a service category?

The Goldie app team has made significant improvements to the Services screen on both mobile and web platforms to accommodate the new "Service Categories" feature:


The "+" button for adding new services has been relocated to the lower-right corner of the screen to make space for additional options. When tapping the "+" button, users will now be prompted with options to "Add category," "Add service," or cancel the action.

*Note: The creation of a category will be pay-gated for Starter users and available for Pro and Team users. 


Users can create categories and assign services to them. An "Uncategorized" category will be automatically created for users with their first category, ensuring all services have a category assignment.


Reordering categories is made easy with a drag-and-drop functionality, allowing users to customize the arrangement of categories.


Each category can have specific actions: "Add service," "Edit category name," and "Delete category."
