Goldie offers flexible subscription options, allowing users to upgrade or downgrade their plans seamlessly. If you are subscribed to Pro Monthly and switch to Pro Plus Monthly (or vice versa) on the same platform (App Store or Google Play), you will be charged a prorated amount based on your remaining billing cycle. This ensures that you only pay for what you use, avoiding unnecessary charges.
Upgrading Your Subscription
When upgrading from Pro Monthly to Pro Plus Monthly, your access to the higher-tier features is granted immediately. The system will calculate the unused portion of your current subscription and apply a credit toward the new plan. You will then be charged the difference, ensuring a fair and smooth transition to the upgraded plan.
Downgrading Your Subscription
If you decide to downgrade from Pro Plus Monthly to Pro Monthly, the change will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to enjoy Pro Plus features until your next renewal date, after which your plan will automatically switch to Pro Monthly without interruptions.
Switching Between Monthly and Annual Plans
Unlike monthly plan changes, switching from a Monthly to an Annual subscription does not follow a prorated billing model. If you choose to upgrade to an annual plan, you will be charged the full amount for the new subscription immediately, and your new billing cycle will begin right away. The same applies if you switch from Annual to Monthly; your current annual subscription will continue until its expiration date, after which the monthly plan will take effect.
Goldie subscriptions are managed through the platform where you originally subscribed:
Apple App Store: Apple manages all subscription upgrades, downgrades, and renewals. Subscription changes within the same billing cycle and subscription group follow Apple's standard proration rules.
Google Play Store: Google Play allows immediate subscription changes with prorated adjustments. Google uses different proration modes to calculate your next charge, ensuring fair billing when upgrading or downgrading.
