Understanding the Goldie Waitlist Feature

Pro Plus users can enable the Waitlist to fill last-minute slots and reduce lost revenue.

The Goldie Waitlist feature is a scheduling solution designed to help you maximize your appointment availability and reduce lost revenue from empty time slots. The new feature is available only on the Pro Plus subscription, and this guide will walk you through the feature's functionality, benefits, and how to implement it effectively in your business.

To use the Waitlist feature, please follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Waitlist

  2. Configure your preferred mode and settings

  3. Enable online waitlist functionality

How the Waitlist Works


From the customer's perspective, the waitlist process is straightforward and user-friendly. When they navigate to your online booking page and find no available slots, they'll see a "Join Waitlist" option. By selecting this, customers can:

  • Choose their preferred date

  • Select a time preference (Anytime, Morning, or Afternoon)

  • Provide their contact information

  • Select desired services and products

Waitlist Settings:


To update the settings, go to Menu → Waitlist → Tap on the gear icon, or tap here.

  • Enable or disable online waitlist functionality

  • Switch between automatic and manual modes

  • Control how and when customers can join the waitlist

As a business owner, you have two primary modes of managing waitlist entries: Automatic Mode (Default Setting) and Manual.

Automatic mode:


In automatic mode, the system takes a proactive approach to filling open slots. When a cancellation occurs or a new availability opens up, the system automatically:

  • Identifies matching waitlist entries

  • Sends direct notifications to customers

  • Allows customers to book the newly available slot

This mode is ideal for businesses looking to minimize manual intervention and maximize efficiency.

Manual mode:


Manual mode offers a hands-on approach for those who prefer more direct control. When a slot becomes available, you'll receive a notification with details about potential waitlist matches. You can then:

  • Review waiting customers

  • Decide which client to book

  • Manually assign the newly available time slot

This mode provides greater flexibility and allows for more personalized scheduling decisions.
