With staff color coding, you can easily spot your team member's unique color, making it easy to see who is booked and when, across all calendar views, without reading each appointment individually.
How to Enable Staff Color Coding
The "Color appointments by staff" toggle is located in the Right menu on the Calendar screen.
To enable staff color coding in Goldie, go to Calendar → tap the Right menu icon → turn on Color appointments by staff.
This is a per-user setting — each person who wants to use it must enable it individually. Turning it on for your account does not affect what other team members see on their calendars.
How Staff Colors Work
Each staff member is automatically assigned a unique color when the toggle is first enabled on your account. These colors are applied across all calendar views in place of service colors.
Time off events are not affected — they always display in their standard style regardless of this setting.
When you turn the toggle off, your calendar immediately reverts to service-based colors. Staff color assignments are saved server-side and will be ready the next time you enable the toggle.
Who Can Use This Feature
Staff color coding is available on the Pro Plus plan for owners, managers, and receptionists on accounts with more than one staff member. The toggle is not visible for service providers, restricted service providers, or users on the Starter or Pro plan.
Staff members with the service provider or restricted service provider role always see service-based colors on their calendar, regardless of what other users have enabled.
