My calendar sync keeps turning itself back off
If you enable calendar sync and it switches itself off again shortly after, this is usually caused by one of the following:
You are signed into a different calendar account on your phone. Confirm the Google or Apple account connected in Goldie is the same account you use in your phone's native calendar app. A mismatch will cause sync to drop.
A background app refresh or battery-saver setting is closing the connection. On the device, allow Goldie to run in the background and refresh data to keep the sync connection active.
If sync still will not stay on after reconnecting with full permissions, contact support at [email protected] with the email address of the calendar you are trying to connect.
My appointments are not showing up in Google Calendar
Confirm calendar sync is turned on in Menu (☰) → Settings → Calendar → Sync with Google Calendar/Sync with other calendars.
Sync applies to appointments created after the connection was made. Appointments created before you enabled sync may not appear retroactively.
Allow a few minutes for new appointments to appear. Syncing is near real-time but not always instant.
Check that you are viewing the correct calendar in Google. Goldie syncs into a dedicated calendar, which may be hidden if its checkbox is unticked in Google Calendar.
Differences between Google Calendar and Apple Calendar sync
Google Calendar connects through your Google account and syncs across any device signed into that account.
Apple Calendar syncs through the calendar on your Apple device. If you use multiple Apple devices, confirm iCloud calendar syncing is enabled on each one so appointments appear everywhere.
