Adding more photos to services

Learn how to add up to five photos to a service, choose which one clients see first, and how the gallery appears in online booking.

With the latest version, you can now add up to five photos to a service and choose which one your clients see first, so they get a better sense of your work before they book.

Goldie App Version: 62.3.0

Plan: Pro and Pro Plus

Adding Photos to a Service

In the photos section of a new or existing service, the old Add service photo button is now Add photos. Tap it to pick your images and add up to five images.

To edit a service in Goldie, go to Menu (☰) → Services.

Once you've added your first photo, the Add photos button moves to the right of it and takes the shape of a photo cell, so you can keep adding without leaving the screen.

Choosing Which Photo Comes First

Each photo has a pin button in its upper-left corner. The pinned photo is the one your clients see first; it's the default image shown for that service in online booking.

The first photo you add is pinned automatically. Only one photo can be pinned at a time, so tapping the pin button on a different photo moves the pin to it and moves that photo to the first position.

Removing a Photo

Tap the X in a photo's upper-right corner to remove it. There's no confirmation step, so it's worth a quick look before you tap.

Saving Your Changes

Adding, removing, and pinning photos are only applied when you tap Save on the service. If you leave the screen without saving, nothing changes.

When you save, Goldie uploads your photos. If one fails to upload, the rest are still saved, and the failed one is skipped—so it's worth checking the service afterward if you added several at once.

What Your Clients See When Booking

When a service has more than one photo, your online booking site shows dots beneath the image. Your clients can swipe left and right to view all of them, and the pinned photo displays by default.

For everything else you can set up on a service — price, duration, description, and staff — see How do I create services?
