How can I request customers to review?

The Goldie Reviews feature allows user to gather client reviews seamlessly, which can be showcased on the Goldie website. By integrating review collection and publication, users can enhance their online reputation and attract more potential clients through authentic testimonials.


1. Eligibility

Goldie Reviews is available to users on the PRO plan and above. All clients, regardless of the user's plan, will be prompted to leave a review on the users' Online Booking websites after their appointments.


Google Reviews Booster is available to users on the PRO PLUS plan. Goldie identifies clients most likely to leave your a five star review and prompts them to review you on your Google business profile. Legacy Plans: Team+2, 3, 4, and Unlimited plans will also include all additional features of Pro Plus.


Non-PRO/PRO PLUS Users


Non-eligible plans will not have access to Google reviews, and the Ratings & Reviews section won’t be visible on their website. Your users will still be prompted to leave reviews by default and you will see their feedback when it is submitted, you just will not be able to display it on your site.

2. Onboarding

To activate the Goldie Review option, open the Goldie app and go to Menu > Settings > Online Booking and enable the Goldie Reviews toggle.

  • Goldie Reviews: Automatically request customers via email to leave a review after their appointment. When you access the online booking settings, you will be able to enable the reviews from the toggle: On/Off (Goldie reviews will be active by default for all users).


  • Google Reviews: To activate the Google reviews, open the Goldie app and go to Menu > Settings > Online Booking > Google Reviews. After accessing the Google reviews screen, you will be required to search for your Google Business Name and follow the steps to enable the option.


3. Leaving a Review

Clients will receive an email one hour after each completed appointment prompting them to leave a review. Reviews are limited to one per customer/business. 


4. Push Notifications

Account owners will receive a push notification when a new review is submitted.

  • Notification Content:
    • Client Name, star rating, and review content.
    • Decline/Publish buttons.

Tapping the notification will open the Client profile screen.

6. Reviews on Goldie Website

On your Goldie online booking page your customers will be able to find the Ratings&Reviews section. By clicking on "See all reviews" a list of all reviews will be displayed ordered by date.


7. Client Account

If you are a customer, to write a review from the client account, access the business online booking page and tap on the Sign In button. Lastly, tap on the Menu Button and "Leave a review." By clicking on the "Leave a review" button it will open “Choose a business” screen for multiple businesses or directly to the review page for a single business.

8. Permissions

  • Only the Account owner can control the Settings related to this feature.
  • Only the Account owner receives push notifications and sees notifications in the Inbox for client reviews.
