How can I create a social media post from Goldie?

The Social Media Post Generator is a new feature designed to streamline social media marketing for our Pro Plus users. This tool utilizes the Goldie AI assistant to create engaging social media posts from user-uploaded photos

Availability: Exclusively for Pro Plus users. If you are using one of the other susbscriptions, you can upgrade your account by opening Goldie and go to Menu > Change plan and select the Pro Plus subscription. 

Key Functions

1. Photo Upload and Caption Generation: Users can upload photos from their gallery, prompting the AI to generate a suitable caption.
2. Reminders: Users can set reminders to: Take photos after the day’s first appointment and post on social media at the end of the day (default time set to 19:45)

How It Works

1. Accessing the Feature: The Social Media Post Generator is accessible through the Marketing screen in the Goldie app. 
   
   - Open Goldie and go to Menu > Marketing > Social Media Generator
   
   
   

2. Uploading a Photo: Tap on the "Upload Photo" button to prompt the device's bottom sheet with the following options:

   • Select from Camera
   • Select from Gallery
   • Alternatively, you can choose from Goldie’s gallery, which displays the last 30 photos saved.

3. Generating a Caption:

   • Once a photo is selected, the AI will analyze the image and generate a caption. During this process, a loading screen will appear with an AI icon and the text "Generating post."
   • The caption will be based on the content of the photo and any relevant details from the appointment associated with the photo.

4. Viewing and Editing the Generated Post:

   • After the AI generates the caption, you will be directed to the "Generated Post" screen where you can review the AI-generated caption.
   • You have the option to edit the caption if needed.

5. Sharing the Post:

   • Once satisfied with the caption, tap the "Copy caption and post" button to open your device's sharing options, allowing you to share the post on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

*Note: For web users, only Facebook and Instagram sharing options are available.

Reminders

To help you stay consistent with your social media postings, the Social Media Post Generator includes reminder features:

• Take Photo Reminder: Enabled by default, this setting will remind you to take a photo after your day’s first appointment.
  
  
• Post on Social Media Reminder: Also enabled by default, this setting will remind you each day at 19:45 to post on social media.
