Goldie Widget is a widget on your Apple devices that lets you see your upcoming appointments right from your home screen. With this widget, you can effortlessly view your schedule and take action on your appointments with just a few taps.
How to Add the Goldie Widget
Press and hold an empty area on your home screen until the apps start jiggling.
Tap the upper left icon in the top left corner of the screen.
Tap "Add Widget"
Search for "Goldie" in the search bar.
Tap "Add Widget."
Once the Goldie Widget is added to your home screen, you'll have instant access to your upcoming appointments.
Features and Functionality
The widget allows you to take specific actions on the appointment that is currently in progress, making it easier to manage your schedule. The available actions include:
Take Payment: Tap this button to open the Payment Method screen for the current appointment, enabling you to complete transactions effortlessly.
Add Notes: Tap this button to open the Edit Appointment screen, where you can add important notes related to the current appointment.
Send Message: Tap this button to open the Choose Message screen with the upcoming message preselected, making it convenient to communicate with clients or customers.
+ more: Tap this button to open the Schedule view, providing an overview of all your upcoming appointments.
Please note that the action buttons will be visible for an extended period of 5 minutes after the appointment's end time, ensuring you have sufficient time to complete necessary tasks. Additionally, group appointments are clearly marked with a dedicated icon, and only the first customer's details are displayed.
Viewing Upcoming Appointments
For all other upcoming appointments, tapping on them within the widget will open the Appointment Details screen. This allows you to get a comprehensive overview of each appointment's information.
Color-Coding Appointments
The appointments in the Goldie Widget will automatically take the color of the first service associated with them. This makes it easier to identify different types of appointments at a glance.
