Reports give you a clear picture of how your business is doing, from booked revenue and actual payments to your best clients and top-selling products.
To view your reports in Goldie, go to Menu (☰) → Reports.
The Reports Dashboard
At the top of the Reports screen, you'll see a snapshot of the current week (starting Monday): your revenue so far, total appointments, appointments booked online, and how many existing and new clients you've seen.
Choosing a Time Period
Every report has Day, Week, Month, Year, and Custom tabs. Use the arrows or tap a bar on the graph to move between periods. Custom lets you pick any date range, which is useful if your financial year doesn't run from January to December.
Note: On the Starter plan, you can view the Day tab for recent days. Week, Month, Year, and Custom are available on Pro and Pro Plus.
Including a Forecast
Turn on Include forecast under the total amount to add earnings from already booked upcoming appointments. When the period includes both past and future dates, the total is split into Actual and Forecast. You can look up to one year ahead.
In the Payments report, the forecast counts only the amount still due on upcoming appointments, so deposits you've already collected aren't counted twice.
Appointments Report
The total is based on the prices of the appointments that start in the selected period. No-shows and cancellations aren't included in the total, but they're counted in the stats card alongside total appointments and appointments booked online.
The breakdowns by staff, service, and product show the amount, the time spent (in hours and minutes), and each item's share of the total. The staff breakdown is available on plans with multiple staff members. Tap Show more to see the full list.
Payments Report
The Payments report is based on transactions: the money actually charged and collected in the selected period, including deposits, payments, and refunds. It's available when you enable Goldie Payments.
Balance
The Balance section separates money received from money refunded for each payment method, including card, cash, and any methods you use to record payments taken outside Goldie.
Learn more in Understanding the Balance Section in Your Payments Report.
Tips and Sales Tax
Tips have their own section with the total for the selected period. Sales tax is shown if you've set it up for your services or products.
Breakdown by Staff
Lists the staff members who generated at least 1% of revenue in the selected period, with their amount and tips.
Profit & Loss
On Pro Plus, this area shows your revenue, expenses, taxes, fees, and Net profit for the period. Learn more in Understanding Net Profit in Your Payments Report.
If you have permission to manage payments, tap Transactions & payouts to open your Payments dashboard.
Clients Report
See how many clients had an appointment in the selected period, split into existing and new (first-time) clients. Your top clients are listed by the amount they generated. Tap a client to see how much came from services and from products, then tap Client profile to open their profile.
Products Report
See revenue and quantities from product sales, whether you sold them from your cart or added them to appointments.
Learn more in Understanding Your Products Report.
Expenses Report
On Pro Plus, see your expenses for the selected period by category, with the number of expenses and the total for each. Forecast isn't available for expenses. To add expenses, see Keep track of your expenses.
Weekly Email Report
Every Monday, Goldie emails you a snapshot of the previous week (Monday to Sunday) if you created appointments that week: your revenue, total appointments, online bookings, and your top client and top service. On paid plans, the email also gives you a look at the week ahead.
Exporting Your Reports
On iOS and Android, tap Export, and Goldie emails a PDF and an Excel (XLSX) file to your account email within 15 minutes. On the Web App, the files download straight to your computer as a ZIP file.
