Requirements
Plans: Pro Plus
Payments: Enabled
The Profit & Loss section of your Payments report shows what you keep after expenses, taxes, and fees, so you can see your business's profitability for any period.
To view this in Goldie, go to Menu (☰) → Reports → Payments.
What Profit & Loss Shows
Line | What it means |
Revenue | Money collected through transactions in the selected period. |
Expenses | The expenses you've added in Goldie for the same period. |
Taxes | Sales tax collected on your services and products. |
Fees | Fees applied to your transactions, including transaction fees and booking fees. |
Net profit | Revenue minus expenses, taxes, and fees. |
Net profit is shown in green when it's positive and in red when it's a loss. Note: This line used to be called Profit after taxes. It's now called Net profit and also deducts your fees.
How Refunds and Disputes Affect Net Profit
Refunds reduce your revenue for the period in which they're issued. If you refund a cash deposit that included a booking fee, you remove the whole transaction from your revenue, along with its net amount and fees. A refund or dispute that covers only the fees doesn't change your report. For chargebacks, your report shows exactly the amount that was taken from your balance.
Profit & Loss with a Forecast
When you turn on Include forecast, upcoming appointments add only to revenue. Fees for future appointments show as 0 until you make a payment.
Net Profit in Your Exported Report
The Payments export includes Net Profit, Taxes, and Fees rows, and a Fees column for every transaction where a fee was applied. It doesn't include booking fees charged when you capture card details or on deposits paid with a gift card.

Getting an Accurate Net Profit
Net profit is only as accurate as the expenses you track. Add your costs in Expenses so they're included. Learn more in Keep track of your expenses.
