Goldie Pro and Pro Plus subscribers receive a monthly allocated quota by default and can purchase additional messages as needed (see this article for details).
Additionally, the monthly SMS quota includes inbound client replies (e.g., confirmation messages such as "yes" or "confirm") and all exchanges made through two-way texting using your assigned number.
If your subscription plan changes, any unused messages from your previous plan will not carry over. Instead, your new SMS quota starts with the updated plan for the current billing period.
If you’re concerned about how many messages you’re using, consider taking a look at the following aspects of your account:
The length of your message templates — every single message you send via Goldie's system can contain up to 160 characters. If your template exceeds 160 characters, it will count as two messages each time it's sent. (It’s also important to note that emojis and other non-Latin alphabet symbols are considered UNICODE, and you will use more messages)
The number of messages you send per appointment (sending times) — it’s possible to add multiple messages to each appointment (e.g., two reminders at different times, a follow-up thank you note, etc.). While it’s important to communicate key appointment information to your customers, avoid sending unnecessary messages—too many can also affect your customers’ experience.
You can easily check your message usage in Goldie anytime by going to Menu (☰) → My Account.
