Goldie provides users with the ability to manually review and accept or reject all appointments made via their online booking site (learn how in this article).
When you have enabled this manual review feature, you’ll run the following simple process to approve/reject appointments booked online:
You’ll receive a notification on your device of the appointment booking request, and a pending appointment will appear on your calendar.
Once you accept/reject the booking request, Goldie will automatically send an email notification/confirmation to your customer.
If you accept, the appointment will be finalized on your calendar; if you reject, it will be removed.
When the payment feature is enabled, pending time slots remain reserved for up to 45 minutes, giving clients enough time to complete the booking.
If payment is disabled, the pending slot will expire and become available again after 10 minutes.
Please note that pending appointments cannot be manually deleted—they expire automatically based on the above timing.
