After you've sent your data export files to the Goldie onboarding team, here's what happens next and what to expect during the import process.
Import Timeline
Once you've emailed your CSV files to [email protected], our team will:
• Acknowledge receipt within 1 business day
• Process and import your data within 1–3 business days, depending on the volume and complexity of the files
• Notify you by email when the import is complete
If your request is urgent, mention it in your email, and our team will do its best to prioritize it.
What Data Gets Imported
Goldie can import the following from most booking platforms:
• Clients — names, phone numbers, email addresses, and notes. If a field from your previous platform doesn't have a direct match in Goldie, the data will be placed in the client's notes field.
• Appointments — future appointments with dates, times, and services (where available)
• Services — service names, durations, prices, and service categories
• Products — product names and prices (where available)
• Gift Cards — remaining balance, original value, expiration date.
• Staff members — names, roles/permissions, contact details.
What Doesn't Get Imported
Some data from your previous platform may not transfer directly:
• Payment history and financial data — Goldie Payments uses Stripe, so payment records from other platforms cannot be migrated
• Photos and images — profile photos, portfolio images, and form attachments
• Custom fields that don't have a Goldie equivalent — these will be added to client notes where possible
• Reviews from your previous platform
• Messages and conversation history
Important: Reminders for Imported Appointments
Please note that appointments imported from another platform may not automatically have reminders enabled. Please let our team know if you would like one of the Goldie reminder templates to be added to all your future appointments.
After the Import
Once your data has been imported, we recommend:
• Spot-check your client list to confirm data looks correct
• Review your services to make sure durations and prices are accurate
• Verify upcoming appointments are showing on the correct dates and times
• Activate Online Booking and share your new booking link with clients
