Why Was My Goldie Payments Account Disabled?

Your Goldie Payments account was disabled? Here's why it happens, what it means for your funds, and what you can do next.

Updated today

If you received a message saying your Goldie Payments account can no longer be supported, or if your payment features have been disabled, this article explains what happened and what your options are.

Why Was My Payments Account Disabled?

Goldie Payments is powered by Stripe, which is subject to financial regulations and compliance requirements. A payment account may be disabled for several reasons:

Stripe compliance requirements. Stripe periodically reviews accounts for regulatory compliance. If your account doesn't meet their requirements (for example, your business type is in a restricted category), they may request that the account be closed.

Unresolved verification. If Stripe requested identity verification, tax information, or business documentation, and it wasn't provided within the required timeframe, your account may have been suspended.

High dispute rate. If your account has received a high number of chargebacks relative to your total transactions, Stripe may restrict or close the account to manage risk.

Suspected fraudulent activity. If unusual activity is detected on your account, Stripe may suspend payments as a precautionary measure.

What Happens to My Money?

When a payment account is disabled:

Pending payouts already in your balance will still be processed to your bank account, though there may be a delay.

Future client payments cannot be processed through Goldie Payments until the issue is resolved/

Existing disputes in progress will continue through the normal resolution timeline.

What Are My Options?

If the disable was due to a missing verification:

Contact us at [email protected] — we may be able to help you provide the required documentation and have your account reinstated.

If the disable was due to compliance or Stripe policy:

In some cases, Stripe's decision is final, and the account cannot be reinstated. If this applies to your situation, you can still use Goldie for scheduling, booking, and client management.

If you believe the disable was a mistake:

Contact our support team with your account email and a description of the situation. We'll review your account and work with Stripe to determine if reinstatement is possible.

Can I Still Use Goldie?

Yes. Disabling Goldie Payments does not affect your ability to use the rest of the Goldie platform.
